Annual performance grading used in CAS (Career Advancement Scheme) reports. Grades are computed from Teaching (Activity 1) and Involvement in students-related / research activities (Activity 2), then combined into an Overall Grade.

Note (Regulation): For the purpose of grading Activity 1 and Activity 2, periods of paid leave (Maternity, Child Care, Study, Medical, Extraordinary Leave, Deputation) are excluded from the assessment. The teacher is graded for the remaining duration, and that grading is extrapolated to the full assessment period — provided the leave / deputation was approved by the competent authority per institutional rules.
